HIMALAYAN SINGING BOWLS
LIGHT SOUND MEDITATION
Sound Bath with Meditation
Focus
Saturday Evening January 14th 7:00.
Like any concert, this is an experience of listening, but more than passively receiving sound waves contacting eardrums, Tibetan bowls have a quality which is melodious, rich, and vibrant. Most people find the resonance of the bowls stirs intuition, triggers a deep relaxation, and fosters a sense of wholeness within oneself and within the world around us. In other words, by listening actively, with every cell of one's body, meditation spontaneously arises. The brain and central nervous system relax deeply, breathing becomes easier and every fiber of one's being is infused with a sense of ease.
Join me for a journey of sound using a special matched set of Himalayan Singing Bowls that will assist you in expanding your consciousness and connecting with the higher dimensions of light. The music will be paced to relax your body, slow your breathing and open doorways to higher states of awareness.
This concert will be focused on connecting to the light body gridwork and setting up a connection to hold that space as a constant support in the evolving energy of the much talked about energy of the year of the dragon 2012. Maintaining a strong connection to your higher self will increase your chances of success this year.

HIMALAYAN SINGING BOWLS
INTRODUCTION TO USING SOUND AS A TOOL
Practical Experiences and
Instruction
Sunday January 15th 10:30 to 5:00 pm.
As a healing modality sound is gaining a wider acceptance but there exist very few practical methods that describe how to actually use singing bowls- THIS IS THAT CLASS
Singing bowls are wonderful and instantly loveable. The
beautiful sounds are both wistful and dreamlike. They have been idolized and
made the subject of numerous stories but very little actual study. As a healing
modality sound is gaining a wider acceptance but there exist very few practical
methods that describe how to actually use singing bowls. This class is designed
to exactly fill that gap.
For those who are truly interested in learning
more about Tibetan Singing Bowls. This is a practical introduction to the
Himalayan instruments that most call Tibetan Bowls. I will present a historical
outline, demonstrate the basic types of bowls, mallets and playing techniques.
This is not a canned presentation and will expand to fit the group.
Topics will include but not be limited to: Energy flow and direction, binaural
beating and trance resonance, integration for practiioners of other modalities
and techniques for using sound for meditation and sound healing. This is a
great way to develop a fresh outlook on using Himalayan Metallophones.
